The "Perfect Guy"
We are always expecting perfection in guys. We are constantly comparing them to characters in movies and television shows. We look at Noah from The Notebook, Sean from The Bachelor and John from Dear John and say that we want to have a guy like that, but is their such thing as a perfect guy? Is their a Prince Charming out there or do they only appear in fairy tales? Better yet, do we really want a guy who is perfect? I feel that girls really just want to feel special and loved. My idea of a perfect guy would be someone who can make me laugh, supports my dreams and wants the same things out of life as I do. This means someone who wants to get married one day and have a family. However, some girls may not be looking for the same thing in a guy. Their may be no such thing as a "perfect guy," but I know that their is a perfect guy out there for me.
I really liked this. Besides the content, just on how you structured this piece alone, I think its amazing how you were able to keep it so short and sweet while still being able to hold so much meaning within it.
ReplyDeleteAs a guy, I found the first line as a great eye catcher and the examples you gave not only showed the depth that you thought about this but it also served to further the interest.
I really liked what you had to say. There is no such thing as a "perfect guy", they can't exist. What if there was one who was perfect, who never needed help, who never needed comfort or support. That relationship would end in a disaster. We need that other half that makes us whole, that love and support when we are down and hurting and someone to give that love and support to. There is a perfect person out there. I wholeheartedly agree.
